I'm attemping to download the game files through the client and manage to get halfway through without a hitch, but on a certain patch I hit a brick wall. On a large patch called " I can restart the client and the download sometimes resumes about mb before the crash point.

But no matter how many times I restart it, it eventually crashes again at the same spot. I have researched the problem and attempted virtually every solution I've found and nothing seems to work, ffxiv unable to download patch files 11003. I've seen ffxiv unable to download patch files 11003 problem reported in many times in different forums and everytime people found different solutions that either worked or not. I'm aware of, and have first hand experience with Square Enix's terrible customer support, so I'm not even going to waste more time with them.

Rather, I'm wondering if this " The only solution I could possibly think of at this point is transfering the updated game files from another PC or downloading from a torrent, but I don't know anyone that plays FFXIV and I don't believe anyone's uploaded any updated game files. The fact that I've already paid a subscription fee is the only reason I haven't given up on this yet. Now I've spent the last 3 days pulling my hair out attempting to get past this.

This means when you get to a certain point on the patching where you encounter this method, your ISP is basically dropping the connection which triggers the errors sent by the Square launcher. The solution is simple. Well, it's been a couple months since I posted this and I decided to retry the ffxiv unable to download patch files 11003 during the free month I have no idea why though. Absolutely nothing changed on my computer or my ISP during those months.

I didn't even bother lowering my computer security or trying a VPN this time. I simply made a clean install and only got a [][] error once near the beginning. A single restart of the client and the download continued uninterrupted. I'm sorry that that SE has not addressed this to the thousands of people having this problem and can only assure you the problem lies not on your end but with how SE handles their patch files as others have stated.

If none of the solutions you've found worked, you might just have to keep redoing a clean install and pray for the best. Judging by the sheer number of people having this problem, I have a feeling this won't be the last time I experience this issue with future patches. Little bit of light thread necromancy here I'm having the exact same problem with the same errors.

Can anyone tell me exactly what settings to use in Cyberghost? I'm on Windows 7. I'm new to using a VPN and I think I got the same error again with Cyberghost running and just took forever to get there.

Is it the Internet Protection option I want? I saw a number of people 'round the internet saying Cyberghost allowed them to download this game through the patcher. Hey guys, This was what worked for me, from an earlier gent: Originally posted by Zermaniac :.

Seems to be downloading now, I plan to copy to the steam folder to see if there is still an issue. Originally posted by pstrawberrie :.

After doing so, I was able to patch normally. The issue is really odd, and seems to be long standing as well. Here's the webpage for those having the problem and haven't tried switching DNS's servers.

Disabling Norton for the download worked for me. Try without! Might save yourself a couple hours! We just need to get the launcher to Long Version: I tried everything in OP's Orion 's post and several other forums and none of it worked.

I did find a solution and hopefully it saves some of you from getting a few extra gray hairs that finding it gave me. Details: I am running Windows 10, bit on a recent reinstallation formatted HDD earlier today for unrelated reasons.

What I did: 1. Download the free trial installer and run it. So I'm telling u exactly what I did. Not just what I think will work. I really hope this solution works for those who have yet to succeed.
